Public Participation at North Beach Charrette

The North Beach Master Plan charrette is well underway with a robust and engaging round of initial public input. Approximately 220 people came out on Thursday evening for the hands-on design session at the UNIDAD Senior Center, and many people have dropped-in to see the work-in-progress at the open design studio.

Day 5 of the charrette will see meetings on Resilience, Street design and transportation as we work toward tonight's open house at the studio, the Byron Carlisle theater at 5pm. Following the open house there will be a presentation on resilience by Robert doaust of Arcadis engineering. So far over 600 people have been involved in person in the process and over 4000 virtually via the website and online polling.
